EV? or ICE? or H? – What is Your Best Guess?
Posted by Tom on April 17, 2022 at 10:47 am25 years from now, which will be leading the way into the future?
Electrics?
Gas and diesel?
Hydrogen?
I predict cleaner and cleaner versions of gas and diesel?
What do you think?

Electric and Autonomous, Electric cars will become the norm, gasoline production will be phased down, and taxed like the tobacco industry to encourage the end of the ICE age. Kia/Hyundai have already sacked thier entire engineering department for ICE development. Ford and GM have announced goals for an all EV lineup by 2030. Eventually, I believe ALL vehicles will be fully autonomous with the only passenger input being the destination.

Range anxiety is real! Most people will not settle for stopping for long periods to recharge, we WILL stop by a hydrogen refueling station, as we do now- if you think about it the oil companies are not going to close all the gas stations, it makes sense to convert them to hydrogen stations.

My guess is there won’t be enough availability of the precious metals to meet demand for EVs. There will be a mixture of ICE, Diesel, Hybrid and EV with ICE and diesel leveling out at 40% of the market. Wild guess, but so be it.
