    Hi,

We use CL since 1998 and the customer response is steady with the ussual seasonal ripples. We never tried there new customer Aquisition program due the expense of Mailings per card. We use CL for all our customer communication (approx. a buko per card) and MM for our prospect mailings (less then half the price) which allows us to double the market saturation. New customers get automaticly mailed thru CL after database update. However, the last 9 month we experienced a decline in responses from MM as well as CL, posible market uncertenties which should correct it self over the next 12 month.

The problem is not the Tool.

I use the T400 since 2008 with all updates and the fun stuff. However I am a believer in OEM or close to OEM Parts. Never was a fan for the one fits all methodology. We frequently do Hyundai’s not so much Mitsubishis and loads of euros, the tool will accommodate all these without problems. I needed to teach new Techs several times to get it right but it works well.

P.S new sensors from the Dealers or aftermarket suppliers are not expensive anymore and if, well did you brake it or was the battery to weak? It’s the Customers fun not ours.

I think we have more important stuff to worry about then where and how to save customers a few Pennies. OEM is what it is most of times the more reliable and warrantable part.

    Interesting approach.

Why dont you figure out all expenses for the next 3 month, divide it by 13 weeks and then divide by 40 (X number of Techs) or how ever many hours you work. then ad your desired profit margin x % and you should be ok,

By the way Techs and benies are expenses, so are Admin and any drivers / Runners you may hired to clean the Techs Boxes.

If you come up with XX.xx you need to compare to your Competitors and if so with Dealerships in your Customer draw aerea, If your rate is to high to compete you need to start tweeking the expenses down (let go of the Toolbox cleaner) find ways to be competitive.

Let us know how you make out.
