We follow the Valvoline program which is similar to BG. Both are about every 30k miles and you get a warranty on the part that the fluid was changed. Does seem like owners manuals are telling owner very little needs to be done. I know the dealership will tell otherwise, yet the customer will accuse us of overselling beyond the owners manual??

I hear/feel your concern. We do our best to treat all customers the same. Inform of inspections, safety items first, repairs, then maintenance. On maintenance we ask once, offer loaner car, explain lifetime valvoline warranty. If they can’t see we are trying to bring “real” value to them and help maintain car. Probably best they did not come back. Sad, but true…

We use DemandForce to send an email day after service. Does not go to google, YELP, etc. Disappointing. Just learned about a company called PODIUM at our latest Tire Pros meeting. Will be doing a demo with them soon.

We are having a demo by Vast in a day or two. There server was not accessable today by Lou Bonilla. We are looking at Mitchell, Ro writer, etc. also. Main feature we want is to integrate with a digital inspection. Vast does this with autoserve1 we are told.
VAST is a big company with huge resources for sure. Sorry I can’t tell you more. I hope some others will weigh in.

digital inspections and thinking of changing to RO Writer or Mitchell to integrate
with Bolt- ON. Any advice would be appreciated -
I like the selling at OE price. No reason not to charge the going market price, and then the lower you can buy, warranty with confidence, etc. the better! Buy Low, Sell High is what most business do right?
