David, tell all your employees to put their phone away during work hours.. Its a huge distraction. I have a team of 10 techs/apprentices and phones are in their lockers..
They can use them on brakes and lunch.if there is an emergency, well call the shop ๐its tough to implement, but you have to add this in your employee handbook as well.it was tough for me, because we communicated within the shop/jobs. but now, they can call my extension ๐i hope this helps!dave -

we will typically add the charge in the fixed costs of the jobs when the vehicle is in our shop. -
Hi Jeff, we use electronic newsletters emailed to our clients. There are free programs like “mailchimp” that collect client emails that you can import, and have great templates for sending out newsletters.

Every morning we have a team meeting and discuss the work flow and jobs for each tech if preassigned.
Obviously with a cup of coffee in the morning first.
