Abandoned vehicles
1: After 30 days of no contact from the owner and the vehicle is still here, we may be able to deem the it “abandoned” and contact __________ to have it removed.
2: In some situations, a “Mechanic’s Lien” may be appropriate.*Discuss these options with the manager to see how to proceed on each particular vehicle.
Priorities
1: Collect for the repair.
2: Get the vehicle off the premises.
3: Be polite and firm with the customer, try not to make them upset.
4: Collect the storage fees if you can do so fairly easily.
