Productivity: Google Keep Location Reminder
For any who may not know, Google has an app comparable to Lotus Notes or MS OneNote named Keep. The thing I absolutely love about Google Keep is that you can write yourself a note and set a reminder by either date & time or by location. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve made myself a mental note to stop at such-and-such-a-place the next time I’m over that way. It’s not like it’s worth making a special trip, I’ll just pick the item up when I’m over that way. Right?
And what happens? Amnesia sets in and I space it. Not anymore. Using the GPS on my phone, Google Keep will notify me the next time I get near the location reminder’s target address. It’s a great productivity tool.
