Customers Complaining About Testing? Try This :)
Place two large clear plastic jars on your service counter. Place a half a dozen ignition parts in jar “A”. Place one ignition part in jar “B”. Label the jars as follows:
LABEL FOR JAR “A”
Two cars had the same problem. Both are now fixed. The parts in this jar are from car “A”. Here is the bill from car “A”:
Testing: “FREE!”
Parts and labor: $1,950
Total bill: $1,950
LABEL FOR JAR “B”
Two cars had the same problem. Both are now fixed. The parts in this jar are from car “B”. Here is the bill from car “B”:
Testing: $190
Parts and labor: $460
Total bill: $650
Quite a few customers will study the jars. 🙂
