    While this certainly does not apply to everyone in automotive education, it applies to a whole lot of folks.

    Part of the curriculum is to make it crystal clear to all students that the only place to work is a dealer. Anyplace else is a road to nowhere for losers.
    To anyone who teaches that – You are truly a detriment to our industry. Either learn the facts or please move on to a different field.

    This all starts at the grass rots level.  I would recommend getting involved in your local technical school’s automotive  advisory boards – this is the group that reviews the curriculum and program.  Two things happen, you get to know the instructor (which helps when coming hiring time) and you help them to better understand the aftermarket needs as well.  Hope this helps.
