Best place to find a good service writer
I have not had much luck with getting a top shelf service writer . Craigslist , ACT , Career Builder , Monster …… have not helped . Any ideas ?

During the normal course of running around to restaurants, C-stores, big box stores, etc. sometimes certain people stand out from the crowd – some might become good advisors.

Someone I know hired a good SA who was a math major in college & just very personable & smart. Attitude & aptitude win over experience, every time! -
Best two service advisors I have hired. One worked sales at a high volume tire store (so he was kind of a service advisor already). The other was a bartender at a high volume bar and had worked as a server at an upscale restaurant. He knew nothing about cars coming in, but was amazing with people. He learned about cars and has been great.
