One concern I would have is that the have no ali certified lifts. If your state has a lift inspection programs[most states are looking at implementing them] these will not make the grade. The top companies submit to ali and it is a safety issue. good luck and if you need to look at the certifications go to : http://www.autolift.org/

By the way , I meant that as a compliment. It is amazing that alot of shop owners and managers dont seem to know what they lose when they are waiting . We figure it is 3.00 to 4.00 a minute in alot of instances if you figure gp on parts and labor. Sure stacks up, so I do understand your problem. Again, no offense implied.

Fully understand , maybe we are different. I have 13 delivery truck and vans. Its service , service, service. I guess thats why we do great buisness. I still would expect any of my customers large or small to let me know of any service issues. I hope it all works out for you.

It sounds like you are at least plugged in enough to know that time is money. As a jobber salesman I can give a little input. In our area I know that the “zone” has only 20 to 25 commercial customers. I have over 600. That being said it sounds like a service issue with the “major” stores. Hopefully they have a salesman ,If not call the store manager and ask him to stop by your shop and let him know your concerns and expectations. Communicate with them. I am sure the know if they have a service issue but then again maybe not. I hope You can get the service that you Do deserve.

Lenny, As was already said in Ohio you can file for a “mechanics lien”. I have been in your shoes as I ran an auto shop and a resto shop at the same time. Sounds like you were where the shop was when I took it over. I made a half up front requirement on all resto work. You may send certified letters with your attornies oversite with the intent to file for titles. Each state is different and you want to follow the law. find as much paper as you can because the court system loves paper. good luck.
