    We are located in Wallace, NC and are looking for a mechanic that is knowledgable and ready to work to help the company grow. If you are fresh out of college, you should also send in your resume. The experience is not as important as the knowledge. We can help you to gain the experience of working in a professional shop if you are willing to have pride in your career and produce.

    Someone that is just looking for a paycheck need not apply.

    THE MECHANIC WE ARE LOOKING FOR He or she must be dependable. They must also have a love for their skill. We are not just looking for someone to fill a job position. We are also looking for someone that has pride in their career and wants the company to grow, so that they may prosper.

    DUTIES: Services automotive equipment in accordance with maintenance schedule; inspects, diagnosis, and repairs mechanical, electrical, and other defects on automotive vehicles, including, but not limited to brake replacement, adjusting brakes, tire replacement and balancing, steering gears, starters, generators, universal joints, A/C repairs, cooling system repairs and many others; discusses service and repair problems with operator and supervisor; maintains records of repairs made, work orders, and time worked. Must have strong diagnostic skills and the ability to perform the repairs needed.

    EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

    Possession of a valid North Carolina Driver’s License at time of appointment; and,

    1. three years of skilled experience in the repair of automotive equipment; or,

    2. a combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to the above standards and that would provide the required knowledge and abilities.

    Knowledge of: modern methods, equipment, materials, and tools used in repairing automobiles, light trucks, and other gas-powered equipment.

    Ability to: diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using electronic diagnostic automotive equipment and determine appropriate installation, service, and maintenance needs; follow written and oral instructions; use the equipment, materials, and tools required in the maintenance and repair of motorized equipment while maintaining a clean and professional work area.
