Student with employee motivational questions . (pls help)
Hey guys! Im not a shop owner but I am a college student studying
Automotive shop management. This is a project that I am doing and hope
some of you professionals can help. One of the topics I chose to cover
is how to properly motivate employees and how to properly treat them
to get the best results and loyalty from them. Do you manage with a
stern firm hand or are you more laid back? Do you assign jobs to the
employee’s strengths for optimal performance or do you just give them
jobs according to how you see fit otherwise? How do you go about
letting employees know of changes in compensation in this harsh
economy? do you have them take it as is or do you have empathy for
them and try to reward them by other means? Any help,questions or
remarks regarding this topic or anything not covered by me will be
greatly appreciated.
