    I would like to create a How to Manual for workorders, estimates, my point of sale system, selling, etc.  Restaurants, franchises do it? Any advice?

    Hi Richard,

    If the manual you are trying to create will be for internal use, in my opinion, it’s a great step forward. In the last shop I owned Euro Performance, by the second year of operation, and due to the high volume of business, I started to notice discord and misdirection among our employees. This prompted me to create an “Employee Handbook”, describing in detail all that was expected from them. The emphasis was not exactly about rules and regulations, rather the individual duties that would contribute to a team effort to allow us ALL to succeed. The results were quite surprising, everyone started arriving on time and ready to work. It also created a strong sense of harmony and real team effort.
