Posted by Site Administrator on July 17, 2013 at 10:56 amWould you hire someone right now if you found the right person?
If you are currently looking for one or more employees, how long have you been looking?
What are the top three (or so) reasons why you have not hired people who have applied for a job at your shop?

Yes
About a yearNot presentable to customers, lack of motivation, lack of competence.Getting applicants is not a problem…it’s the lack of quality. -
We are looking to hire a knowledgeable Service Writer.
We have been looking a few months.
Most have hard sell dealer tactics or lack experience. We want a person with a pleasant friendly personality who truly cares about satisfying the customers needs and who can sell by explaining good value and reasonable long term benefits to customers, without the make a dollar at any expense approach most are trained for, it they are trained at all.

Just started looking. Need “b” techsLack of professionalism, lack of motivation, lack of skill, dont really want to work.I agree with Tom, its not the quantity of applicants, but the quality. We are looking more at finding someone with good character that wants to learn, but doesnt have auto experience, and training them. -
