    My Grandma owned her own business until she sold it and retired in her

    60s. Two of my aunts and uncles have owned their own shops for years.

    I grew up working in my Uncle Forest’s wood shop and saw his struggles

    to run a growing business with just him and my Aunt holding it all

    together (while raising four girls).

    So I think I can safely say that running your own biz is hard work

    that generally is under-appreciated and often misunderstood. I think

    this image just about sums it up.
