Bar code reader for Mitchell
We are looking for a bar code reader that will work with Mitchell for scanning VIN bar codes. This should give us accurate vehicle information quickley.Anyone have or know of a source for this?

Mitchell rep told me in in beta testing and should be released soon.

We have been using one for years. Any barcode scanner will work, but
the one that worked best for us was a bluetooth scanner. Just put the
cursor in the correct field and scan, or you can open notepad and
scan multiple, then cut and paste.

Symbol technologies makes an excellent Bluetooth scanner.
Symbol LS4278 is a very nice model.
Quality is good
Range is good
Takes a little to get it setup but then it’s as easy as typing it into the box in Mitchell.
