AllData Shop Management Software
Posted by Chester Bulat on August 7, 2012 at 10:01 pmLooking at switching my shop program to Invomax or Bay-Master.
Can any one tell me if they have these programs and how do you like them.

Would also like to know if any one is using alldata manage?

We are looking at AllData, currently use Mitchell. I am interested in
any feedback on AllData.

I dont like alldata manage. It is a whole lot of clicking to the next screen over and over again. Basically I think they over complicated it and made it to time consuming. I have had it for 6 months now and will not be renewing. Once your info is in there it does give you some nice reports on about anything you can think of from tech efficiency to profits on specific parts.

Had Invomax for about 2 years back in the late 90’s. Invojunk would better describe it back then. Needed tech support often and they were west coast and I am east coast so I waited til 11am est to get help. Used Mitchell for years and finally got fed up with their promises and swithed to napa tracs 8 months ago and so far we are pleased.

I have been using Alldata Manage for about ten years now. My
dislikes are 1. You can not write a refund invoice. 2. Michigan
requires tax on core values and Alldata can not ( will not ) provide
this function. 3. Alldata welcomes suggestions for improvements but
has NEVER followed up on my suggestions. So why have I stayed with
them ? Support has been good when I have computer issues. I like the
invoice layout and the service history.
