We have a laptop for each full time tech and use a wall mount monitor for easier viewing, Have 1 tablet in our roll around diagnostic cabinet. It is used mostly for wiring diagrams without printing and wasting paper. Diagnostic flowcharts etc. Cabinet also has a single laptop used for our Ford IDS, GM MDI and Starmobile Chrysler, Pico, VAG etc. This is a Panasonic toughbook, This is NOT to be used for anything else to avoid problems. Have Norton on all of them, No problems

I just purchased the DB Power scanner from Amazon, It does auto fill the work order on Mitchell and works great on most vehicles, But I find the GM car and trucks have a letter “i” in the prefix to the VIN and will drop the last number from the VIN when up loaded? May have to try a different scanner or programming for this unit, Price was about $125.00
