We use 1.2 for pads & rotors and .2 for each additional caliper. There are always special circumstances depending on the vehicle type though.

We looked into PEX but didn’t want to risk it not meeting code requirements.
In the end we used the aluminum pipe and fittings from TransAir. The product was expensive but we installed it ourselves. In the end, the piping looks great and the performance from what we had (rubber hose running everywhere) has increased phenomenally.

We’ve been ordering our parts electronically as well and it’s almost eliminated this issue 100%, aside from some brake measurement issues…Calling the parts store is a pain now that we’ve been doing the leg work ourselves.

Wow, i’m tempted to grab one just to try it out. I wonder how close it is to Identifix we use in the shop? What’s the chance an Identifix subscription price will drop?
