The fact that our students are doing poorly in school is nothing new… It is obvious that those in charge of our nations finances have failed both math and economics.

    1.6 trillion

That story just reaffirms my decision NOT to use this service; it just encourages price shoppers. (I hesitate to use the term “bottom feeders”, they are different) While not all businesses will have this kind of response, I have found that sound business practices, delivering a quality product, and charging a fair price will always result in a financially stable business. I feel it’s important not to panic when business slows, and it can slow for may reasons. For us, the change in seasons has a lot to do with it. For many, the current political and economic climate may affect business. You may have to shift gears and diversify business practices, but don’t panic and give away the business you do have. That makes no sense.

I also use a multi-line distributor in the next town (Firestone, Goodyear) who sometimes has better prices AND inventory, but my customers are just as likely to go to him. We do have a good relationship, he sends me brake & ft. end customers. (He does’t do any repairs, just tires)

A lot of people use drugs and alcohol, but I don’t suggest it. The natural endorphin buzz of physical activity is VERY beneficial to coping with stress. The enzymes and hormones released by excerize are very similar to those released by some drugs, but only with positive side effects. (Helps to control weight gain, blood pressure, blood sugar, etc…) I’m usually able to puzzle out the delima’s left over at the end of the day, come up with a new game plan for the next day.

Personally, I like to go for a long slow run in the woods. Now that the ground is snow-covered I strap on the snow shoes or cross country skiis. Sometimes I attack the wood pile with an axe to releive frustrations. Whatever it is that suits you; the treadmill or weight bench in the basement, join the local health club/ gym, or even just a long walk to be alone, I’m sure you will feel an improvement in your state of mind. Give it a try.
