The Egg Hunt in Diamond Dynasty looks cute for about five minutes, then it turns into a proper checklist. You’ll want cards, modes, and a bit of patience, plus MLB The Show 26 stubs if the market gets annoying.
How the program actually moves
The track runs to 100 progress, with Jackson Merrill sitting at the end as the big 90 OVR prize. Moments give clean progress, vouchers add chunks, and Mystery Missions do the messy work. It’s not hard, just oddly split up.
The first thing I’d do is knock out the four Moments. Tyler Rogers, Phil Rizzuto, Troy Tulowitzki, and Merrill are all there, and clearing them gives the Orange Egg Voucher. Nice and simple. No guessing, no weird roster trick.
The cleanest route through the grind
The Meta: Moments first, Conquest second, Mini Seasons third, Diamond Quest fourth.
The Snag: some missions only count in one exact mode, so random grinding wastes time.
The Fix: stack Tulowitzki, the Cardinals bats, Clay Holmes, Kerry Wood, and A J Puk during Conquest.
Reality check: Half the pain here is not the hitting. It’s remembering where SDS decided each clue is allowed to count.
Where most players mess it up
“Customizable Mini Seasons Length” is the sneaky one. It has nothing to do with changing season length. You need 500 PXP in Mini Seasons with players wearing number 7 or 28, so load the lineup properly before wasting games.
The buzz on Discord: players keep saying the eggs are fine, but the point values feel weird because guides don’t fully agree.
Quick settings for your brain, not your console
Conquest focus: capture strongholds, then clean the map for Blue and Yellow Eggs.
Diamond Quest focus: use Kyle Schwarber for the KYLE TEST homer because he is the safest call.
What to leave for last
Save the online stuff until you know you need it. Red asks for three steals, Green asks for ten doubles, and Events are usually the least painful place to chase them. If you’re short on cards or swaps, cheap MLB The Show 26 stubs can make the last stretch less irritating without changing the route.
