Great comments on all. I use Ro Writer  , Labor profit Management and Repairshop solutions. All these programs do good “IF” you use them correctly. I have looked in to Bolt On and Auto Vitals and they do a good job of “Organizing” your systems together.

Now in my opinion , we do it everyday, we can do pretty much the same with the programs we have. We had to do some input to make them work that way but it works very well all the same. I forgot to mention I use MechanicNet too and there are features there that people don’t use and I don’t understand why. So they go out and buy these other programs to get the same features they already have.  ( I am not trying to be a smart alec or take away from AV or Bolt On just stating my observation)
I am a big fan of Repair Shop Solutions for the ease of use and reporting. Works with my Rowriter and Scott is always working on new things with it without rushing into them. He seems to research and test very thoroughly.
From Ro writer screen  we have status set up and we have an SOP that has policies and procedures that my guys must follow to make it all work.
We use Lan Messenger that cost me 180.00 for a lifetime license to communicate with everyone on the network
I am spending for all this to work together just under 500 a month.
If the other programs work for you and you don’t want to incorporate what you have now then by all means buy them they will work for you.
I know the complaint is ” My employees won’t do that if I set it up that way”  My question is to that statement ” Isn’t it your shop?”
    Great conversation  everyone.
