Dumpster?!!! Why not Ebay? We go through our parts about every other year and Ebay things that can not be returned and are not fast movers.
We use Brother HL-5370DW laser printers. It is much cheaper per page. It is highly rated in Consumer Reports and we have had no problems with them.
We charge $10.00 with no problems. That’s a six minute charge.
I started about a year ago to offering a 2 year, 24,000 mile warranty also just to stand out from the competition. I think offering a lifetime warranty would be opening a big can of worms. Would it also include other owners of the car? What if you sell your business? Too many questions.

Their insurance company covers the vehicle while they have it. My insurance company is the second insurer. The cars are included in my garage owners insurance. My insurance company provided me with the forms for the customer to sign and we always check ID and proof of insurance.
Same for me. I was starting to wonder how long the slow down was going to last. It has picked back up now. (of course now some of the techs are going on vacation. Never fails!)

I have the luxury of having2 bays per tech. It makes it really nice as they can check a car over, give me their recommendations, then move on to another vehicle while I make an estimate and sell the job.
