Just have always used one labor rate and try to keep it the same for a few years until just have or should or have to, for the 39 years I have been in business. However I can not keep as steady and long term labor rate for many years. I have basically been to low to keep things simpler. However I have had to go up by 30 plus over the last few years. I just currently went to 132.50 per hour, but am considering doing a 95-100 rate for oil service vehicle checks, as have a few customers not complaining but have remarked! I also explain to them how much oil etc has gone up.
