Hi I’m Austin, and I’m new here. I am opening up a garage here soon (started in my garage) where we will ldo almost anything. We specialize in FCA vehicles (mostly Rams 96-current in my area). Which scanners are the best to buy to be able to read live data, access real data, program things, and add things to the vehicle?

Hello Austin, we use Autel MaxiSys Elite and provides lots of functions.  Also a SnapOn Verus.   We are able to cover most of the vehicles that come in to the shop with those scanners

If you are going to specialize in FCA then I would say the FCA OE tool is a must.

We have the OE tool and the Autel Maxisys 908pro. The Autel will do most of what we need to do.

For what you are doing you have at least an OEM tool.

The Maxisys 908 Elite is a good scan tool, is quick and handy.

Or the Snap on Solus Edge.
